The Cottagers led for more than an hour 1of this semi-final at Anfield and were eyeing a famous win, until Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo struck in a three-minute spell to give Jurgen Klopp's side a 2-1 aggregate advantage.

It means Fulham must win on home soil if they are to reach the final at Wembley next month, and keep their hopes of a first major trophy alive.

Liverpool will be confident of completing the job though, in a competition they have won more than any other club. It has been a flying first half of the campaign from the Reds, who sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League having lost just once domestically this season.

The Fulham vs Liverpool live stream sees both sides fighting for the right to contest the Carabao Cup final at Wembley. The Cottagers trail 2-1 after the first leg but will hope they can turn that around at home today as they bid to reach a first domestic final since 1975.

Fulham’s dreams of reaching a first major final since their Europa League loss to Atletico Madrid in 2020 remain very much alive after an impressive performance at Anfield. Willian's goal after 19 minutes left the London club with plenty to play for despite second half goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gapko.

Liverpool have made a habit of scoring late this season and come into this second leg full of confidence after their thumping 4-0 win away at Bournemouth in the Premier League. Manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to make many changes. Fulham will likely have to contend with the dangerous attacking trio of Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.

Jürgen Klopp's Reds come into this key cup clash facing something of a selection crisis. The home side are without 10 first team regulars, including injured fullback duo Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, plus Mohamed Salah, who's away on international duty with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Fulham boss Marco Silva will therefore be hoping to take advantage of his opponents' apparent vulnerability as his side look to book their place in what would be their first ever League Cup final.

Liverpool have been on a roll winning five straight matches since their 1-1 draw with Arsenal but Fulham will have every chance to book a place in the EFL Cup final only down one goal on aggregate when they meet Wednesday. With Mohamed Salah having gotten injured while at AFCON with Egypt, Liverpool were able to dispatch Bournemouth behind braces from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota but Fulham can make a cup final for the first time since losing to Atletico Madrid in the 2010 Europa League final if they can overturn the aggregate deficit. The winner will be set to face Chelsea in the final.

Only behind by one goal on aggregate, Fulham have every chance to win the match but without Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey available due to Africa Cup of Nations duty, the team will need to pick up the slack in attack. Defensively, Bernd Leno and the back line will have quite a job to do stopping Darwin Nunez and the Liverpool front line but if the match becomes a shootout, Fulham won't be able to keep up.

There's no better time for Nunez and Jota to find form than with a cup final on the horizon. If they can lead Liverpool to the final, there's a good chance for the Reds to topple Chelsea for their first trophy of the season which will only add to the confidence that these Reds can win the Premier League even with Salah absent. They both bagged braces over the weekend and enter with tons of confidence.

Liverpool has the chance to book its ticket to a first final of the season today, with a spot at Wembley on the line. Jürgen Klopp's side goes into the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Fulham with a 2-1 advantage.

The winner of the tie will face Chelsea, after the London club emphatically overturned a one-goal deficit from the first leg, winning 6-1 against Middlesbrough. Should Liverpool progress, it would therefore be a repeat of the 2022 final, which Klopp's men won on penalties.

But there is a tough task to be completed first, with Marco Silva's side rarely an easy proposition. Liverpool had to stage a dramatic late comeback to win the league game at Anfield 4-3, while it needed to come from behind to win the first leg of this tie as well. Things will not necessarily be straightforward at Craven Cottage.

Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Fode Ballo-Toure all remain unavailable for Fulham as they continue to be involved at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Harrison Reed partnered Palhinha in midfield at Anfield, but Tom Cairney could get the nod to start at Craven Cottage, while Harry Wilson will hope to get the nod on the right wing against his former club.

Mohamed Salah is set to return to Liverpool for treatment on a hamstring injury suffered at AFCON, though he could still play for Egypt before the end of the tournament and will not feature for his club this month.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss the game but could feature against Norwich on the weekend. Andy Robertson will be in the squad, along with Curtis Jones.

Fulham started the first leg in sublime form as they led the tie during the halfway mark at Anfield. But Liverpool's waves of attacks in the second half destroyed their resilience as the side conceded two goals in just three minutes to lose the clash. Marco Silva will be hoping for better application and continued resilience when they host the English heavyweights in the second leg.

The Reds came back from a goal behind to score twice as Jurgen Klopp's men produced another scintillating comeback. Darwin Nunez's introduction in the second half turned out to be a masterstroke by Klopp as the Uruguayan forward bagged two assists to help the Reds capture the lead in the first leg and they now look to book a place in the final of the domestic competition.

Former Barcelona and Wolves winger Adama Traore is the solitary injury absentee for Fulham with the Spaniard recovering from a hamstring issue. He could recover before the fixture against Liverpool, however, will only be deployed from the bench if necessary.

Fulham will also be without the services of Alex Iwobi, Fode Ballo-Toure, and Calvin Bassey with the trio currently representing their respective nations at the CAF AFCON 2023.Liverpool's fans' hearts would have skipped a beat when talismanic winger Mohamed Salah hobbled off the pitch during international duty but the Egyptian international is tipped to return for the AFCON if his nation makes it through to the semi-finals and could be back in action for Klopp's men soon.

In the meantime, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez bagged braces in their 4-0 thrashing of Bournemouth in the League and the attacking duo will be once again be in action against Fulham. Dutch forward Cody Gakpo has been in sublime form in the EFL Cup chipping in with crucial goals, including the winner at Anfield in the first leg, and he'll be the third member of Liverpool's forward battery.

Thiago Alcantara (hip), Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Joel Matip (ACL), Ben Doak (knee), Kostas Tsimikas (collarbone), Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) and Andrew Robertson (shoulder) are the list of injury absentees for the Reds while Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo is out of contention as he's playing at the AFC Asian Cup.

Fulham have produced two really impressive performances against Liverpool this season, but on each occasion have surrendered the lead and fallen to narrow defeats.

Even when not at their best, this Liverpool team is capable of picking up results and the confidence is flowing through the squad, as they continue to march forward in all competitions.

The Reds came from behind at Anfield in the semi-final first leg to win 2-1, thanks to goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo to give them an advantage heading into the second leg.

Liverpool, who are hoping to win the competition for a record-extending 10th time, come into Wednesday's showdown on the back of their 4-0 demolition of Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota both netting braces.

Jurgen Klopp's side are clear at the top of the Premier League by five points, however, Manchester City boast a game in hand. The Reds are into the Europa League knockout stages and into the FA Cup fourth round.

Fulham last played on January 13th, when losing 1-0 at Chelsea in the Premier League left them 13th in the table. Marco Silva's side have lost four of their last five in the league and they'll be hoping Carabao Cup success can turn their fortunes around.
